The Deconstructing Dinner Film Fest was an annual event hosted in Nelson, British Columbia and other nearby communities. The Film Fest was created and curated by Jon Steinman of Deconstructing Dinner and was built upon the belief that when a community gathers together to expand our awareness of food through film, that it will become stronger in its efforts to cultivate a resilient and vibrant local food culture.
The festival featured food documentaries from around the world alongside good food and drink.
In 2020, it was decided that the festival would be retired but that future incarnations of it may emerge in the not-so-distant future!
