Honey Sweetened Granola
There aren’t too many quick and easy comfort-food breakfasts or anytime-snacks better than a delicious, homemade honey-sweetened granola. – Heather Carlucci
Ingredients
  • 3cups rolled oats
  • 1cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3/4cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2cup honey
  • 1/4cup oil, vegetable
  • 3/4tsp salt
  • 1cup raisins (or any dried fruit)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, and coconut
  3. In a separate bowl, combine honey, oil, and salt.
  4. Combine both mixtures and pour onto 2 sheet pans.
  5. Cook until browned, stirring every 15 minutes to achieve an even color.
  6. Remove from oven and transfer into a large bowl.
  7. Add raisins (or other dried fruit) and mix until evenly distributed.
