Tandoori Honey Chicken

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 cups greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1/4 cup light honey
  • 1 piece, ginger root, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil, vegetable

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 cups greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1/4 cup light honey
  • 1 piece, ginger root, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil, vegetable
Instructions
  1. Combine yogurt, paprika, turmeric, honey, ginger and garlic thoroughly.
  2. Season chicken with kosher salt
  3. Pour yogurt over the chicken and let marinate 3 hour to overnight.
  4. Spread chicken pieces out on oiled pan and roast in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve with lime pickle and raita.
